Digitalization of cultural heritage: HBIM and OpenBIM

The HS Academy “Current Topics in Heritage Science” lecture 7 (Edition 2) presented by the Emerging Professionals Editorial Board, is on the topic: “Digitalization of cultural heritage: HBIM and OpenBIM“, to be delivered online onย April 18th, from 3 to 4 pm (CEST).ย 

The lecture will be delivered by Katja Malovrh Rebec, Assistant Professor, Head of The Department and Laboratory for Building Physics at the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute (ZAG). The training will be delivered on the priciples ofdigitization in the preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage, using advanced technologies, e.g. Heritage Building Information Modeling (HBIM), integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI), scan-to-BIM technologies, and virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR), drones and digital knowledge repositories, including citizen science initiatives, to improve the accessibility and preservation of built cultural heritage.
